I have a health tip for you. Believe it or not, growing sugar cane actually contributes to carbon dioxide emissions, deforestation, global warming, and water shortage. Sugar production utilizes precious agricultural land for a crop that is not healthy for humans. Steer clear of purchasing sugar-rich foods, like many breakfast cereals and sweetened soy, almond, or oat milks. You can replace sugar-rich cereals with sugar-free ones, and then sweeten with whole fruits and berries. If you’re baking, try figs, bananas, pears, or apples to sweeten instead of processed sugar. Reducing sugar in foods and beverages may be difficult to do at first, but know that your tastebuds’ chemical structure actually alters within a week and you may wonder why you didn't do it earlier. Remember where possible to opt for ingredients that don’t harm your health or the planet!

The joke of the day seems ready for its giggle performance. Let’s see how it goes. This one’s entitled “Uncertainty.”

Antoine, an avant-garde painter, got married to Raquel. A few weeks after the wedding, the couple’s friend met the bride:

“How’s married life, Raquel?”

“It's great! My husband paints, I cook; afterward, I try to guess what he painted, and he attempts to guess what I cooked.”
