Korea donates COVID testing supplies to The Gambia to address coronavirus spread.

The Korean government recently contributed Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test kits worth US$200,000 to the African nation. At the same time, the World Health Organization gifted the country with lifesaving ventilators, valued at US$100,000, and the West African Health Organization provided US$3,700 in reagents for COVID-19 testing. The Honorable Dr. Ahmadou Lamin Samateh, the Gambian Minister of Health, expressed his appreciation, saying, “The materials will go a long way to ensure early detection and management of COVID-19.” Korea is a laureate of three Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Peace. Way to go, Korea, World Health Organization, and the West African Health Organization, for your kind and timely assistance to The Gambia. We pray for all to swiftly change to a plant-based diet, which is the easiest way to eradicate the pandemic, in Divine light.

Solar probe brings news from Venus.

As detailed in a report by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) scientists published in May 2021, equipment aboard NASA’s Parker Solar Probe unexpectedly detected the first new direct data, in almost three decades, from Venus’ atmosphere. The probe moved close to Venus, using the planet as a “gravity slingshot” to travel closer to the sun. At its nearest point on July 11, 2020, the spacecraft moved into the planet’s upper atmosphere, or ionosphere, just 800 kilometers above the surface. The probe then detected a natural radio signal emitted by the ionosphere. The data collected will help researchers understand how Venus, which was once similar to Earth, became a scorching and uninhabitable world. We appreciate this fascinating information from the Parker Solar Probe, NASA. May your scientists’ work uncover more secrets of our universe to benefit humanity, in Heaven’s grace.

Up next, Afghanistan upgrades essential water infrastructure. We’ll just thank the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) servicers, who repair and maintain these convenient electronic devices that allow us to make cash withdrawals, deposits and perform other banking tasks with ease and convenience. Please stay with us for more worthwhile news on Supreme Master Television. Vegan = Love in Action.

Good day, compassionate friends! I’m Bayarmaa the vegan Water Buffalo. Have you ever heard the expression “strong as a bull?” Well, adopt a vegan diet, and you can become just that! Here is a good tip to help keep an infant safe. Set their crib and any furniture at a distance from windows so they won’t be able to use it to climb up and potentially fall out. In addition, please use window guards to also prevent this kind of accident, as window screens are only designed to keep insects out. Thank you for your attention and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now, the worldwide weather.

Vital water canal upgraded in Afghanistan.

An important water canal in Afghanistan’s Baghlan-e-Markazi district in Baghlan province has been renovated by the country’s National Authority for Water Management at a cost of US$257,000. The Ajmir canal is 26 kilometers long, and its restructuring will allow the irrigation of 1,800 hectares of land as well as the generation of electricity for local residents. In addition to that, a canal was constructed in Jawzjan province’s Khawja Dako district, which will be able to irrigate 1,400 hectares, and benefit some 530 families. Congratulations, Afghanistan, on upgrading your infrastructure to help grow more crops and supply the citizens of your nation with additional power. In the mercy of Allah, may your helpful projects continue as the dignified Afghan people live healthy and blessed lives.

High sugary foods and saturated fat intake linked to enhanced likelihood of heart disease.

A study by Oxford University researchers in the United Kingdom has shown a connection between eating foods dense in sugar and saturated fat and developing middle age cardiovascular disease. The investigation recorded over 116,000 people’s eating habits for up to 15 years and found that consuming large amounts of butter, chocolate, processed meats and other high-fat foods increase heart disease risk by 7%. Furthermore, a diet high in processed sugars, including sugary drinks and packaged fruit juices, increases one’s chances of getting the disease by 4%. The scientists recommend people eat more fresh fruits and vegetables as well as consume low-calorie drinks and water. Such helpful advice, Oxford researchers, that promotes healthful foods low in sugar and fat. May many now try the life-giving whole food vegan diet for better health and longevity, in the Providence’s guidance.

Good-hearted man in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, renovates old bicycles for disadvantaged students.

After learning that indigent students in some northern mountainous provinces have to walk very far to go to school, 70-year-young Lê Trọng Kính, who lives in Ninh Bình province, Âu Lạc (Vietnam), decided to fix and repaint old bicycles to make them like new. He sent some of these to the northern areas and today also gives away these bikes in his community. In the last 10 years, he has graciously gifted more than 150 bicycles to students in need. Mr. Lê shared, “Sometimes, I have to buy two or three old bicycles to assemble and refurbish into a complete bike. It takes me at least two days, a week or even a month to finish a bike.” Our gratitude, Lê Trọng Kính, for your selfless, kind service and may Heaven protect you. The world will be more loving when caring actions like yours envelop our globe, in Buddha’s benevolence.

Coming up, six cities in Europe listed as most vegetarian-friendly to live in by on-demand housing website. In honor of Father’s Day, observed today in Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States and elsewhere, we would like to take a moment to express our appreciation to all the father figures whose heroic actions have benefited society. We’ll return with more motivating news on Supreme Master Television. Vegans = God’s true children! Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Delightful News for a Better World.

Six European cities ranked as top living destinations for vegetarians by on-demand housing website.

Nestpick is a Germany-headquartered online real estate database and search engine for apartment rentals in over 3,000 cities worldwide. It has recently developed the Vegetarian Cities Index, via a study, to assist those continuing their plant-based lifestyle abroad. Focusing on expatriates and students relocating globally, the survey explored top livable cities around the world for vegetarians. It examined the local cost of vegetables and plant-based proteins, as well as the rating, pricing and availability of its vegan and vegetarian restaurants. London, UK; Berlin and Munich, Germany; Vienna, Austria; Glasgow, UK and Zurich, Switzerland emerged as the top six most veg-friendly cities out of the 75 reviewed. Thank you, Nestpick, for your research to aid plant-strong people to settle smoothly into new locations. May your considerate efforts lead many more to become better aware of their plant-based options and enjoy happy and healthy lives, in Divine love.

Two pairs of endangered cranes return to Texas, United States.

Originating from the state of Louisiana, USA, non-migratory Whooping Cranes were found nesting in Southeast Texas for the first time since the 1800s. In the 1940s, the majestic Whooping Cranes’ total population had dwindled to just 16 birds in North America as a result of habitat loss due to land clearing for agriculture, the feather trade and hunting. Thanks to conservation efforts, today there are more than 600 Whooping Cranes in the wild, including 70 in Louisiana. The birds’ recent expansion back into Texas helps to further preserve their species, although challenges include their slow rate of reproduction, unfavorable weather conditions, and illegal hunting. We salute the dedicated protection work and wish for the successful reproduction and rearing of healthy offspring. In God’s nurturing care, may we join hands to safeguard our animal co-inhabitants who all bring beauty and grace to our world.

How about a joke of the day to bring out a smile? This one’s called, “Perception.”

A comedian visits his impressionist painter friend. Seeing him standing thoughtfully in front of a painting, the artist asks:

“What do you think? Do you understand what I painted?”

The guest answered quietly as if speaking to himself:

“A woman...”

“Yes! I describe a woman with shapes and colors. Your artistic sensibility is admirable!”

“I don’t know about that but whenever there is something incomprehensible, I immediately think of women!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Anish in Nepal:

Master, You are so pure, like the streaming water of the Himalayas. You are so truthful, like the rays of the sun. And You are so compassionate, like the warm breeze in the chilling cold. But yet, many of the hypocritical politicians deceive. And many ignorant people undermine You. Nevertheless, despite the Earth being so polluted, You gear the world to make its air, water, and land clean and suitable to all living beings. Despite the world being so cruel to our fellow co-inhabitants, You turned the hearts of millions and millions to new horizons to respect them. Despite human communities being so disharmonious, You drive nations and factions of people to peace and friendship with love. Despite lacking global transcendence among spiritual traditions, You bridge the thoughts and beliefs from the tribal level of understanding to the Upanishadic level. We are fortunate to find You as our Master (Guru). Bands of disciples are always behind You, unmoved. Anish from Nepal

Virtuous Anish, Our sincere gratitude for sharing your poetic talent with us. The way you describe Master is so accurate and loving! We agree that finding a Master is the greatest gift any soul could ever receive through the course of its entire existence. We will continue to faithfully stand by Master and help Her in any way possible in Her noble mission.

Master’s response inspires endless positivity: “Sweet Anish, given the chance and good guidance, humans can revert back to their original nature as well as succeed in becoming vegan and bringing peace on Earth. Thus, in a flash of light, all the beautiful things you write about in your poem would take form, and our planet would become a paradise again. Let us continue this work hand in hand! May God’s abundant Love shower you and upright Nepal.”
